“FRIENDSHIP CHAIN”
FOR
MATTHEW DONALD ERICKSON
Mrs. Erickson, a Wayne teacher, has a nephew who was born in December with a very aggressive form of brain cancer. He has a difficult road ahead of him. His father, Ben Erickson, is also a teacher at South Elgin High School. Help create a “Friendship Chain” for Matthew by purchasing a “chain link” (a strip of paper) during lunch for only .25 cents each. Any number of “chain links” can be purchased.
You only need to follow a few simple steps to make our chain grow while helping a family in need.
*Once your entire class is seated for lunch, raise your hand, donate your money to your lunch supervisor and then your lunch supervisor will give you your “chain link(s)”(strips of paper)
*Take the “chain link(s)” home and write words of encouragement or draw a positive picture on one side of the link
*Return the link(s) back to your teacher and your teacher will deliver them to the front office
* “Chain links” will be stapled together and displayed in the lunch room for all to view
* “Chain Links” can be purchased every day ONLY DURING LUNCH
